About 2:25 p.m. yesterday, the man who had just disembarked a flight from Guyana, was observed acting in a manner that aroused the suspicions of the police.
He was accosted and eventually admitted to having ingested cocaine pellets.
He was taken to hospital where he expelled 44 pellets of cocaine weighing approximately a pound. The drug has an estimated street value of J$598,000.
